Listen to the Moon
Oct 18, 2024
The moon this morning was absolutely STUNNING!!! I was able to catch a glimpse as I dropped my son off at school early this morning . Watching the moonset is inspiring, especially today. 🌕
Yesterday was the Hunter's Moon – and it's the closest of the super moons this year. Right now, the moon is only 222,095 miles (357,428 kilometers) from Earth (still sounds a big far, right!). Such a big thought to think of where we are in the universe, and all the places and things surrounding us. And only a few of those things that we can actually see...
The moon reminds me that we are always whole, no matter how much of her we can see. But today, we see her full self. It's a time where we can put what we've learned throughout the year into action. That's right, it's GO time!
The year has been full of big moments, and it's time to take the BOLD steps to lean forward, let go of what no longer serves you and embrace all that you've learned along the way. It's also an opportunity to prepare... it's about to get pretty cold and dark in my part of the world. What pieces of this lunar light can we bring with us into the dark winter? Take some time today to listen, wonder and love yourself a bit brighter. ✨
